The software, however, lets you look at all your usb ports and peripherals. This product works first time up with Windows XP. Got what I paid for. Got what I wanted. No grumbles or gripes. The included software is not necessary to run the card, since the USB drivers are up to date on Windows.
If you need more USB ports and have PCI slots available, this will add 4 more to your PC. This product works as described.
